As all knew that Austin Bashi earned his UFC contract with a second-round submission win in the Dana white contender series. Now, he is making his debut at the UFC Fight Night: Dern vs Ribas 2.
This Saturday (11-01-2025) the 23-year-old Bashi enter in to the Octagon and fight against Christian Rodriguez.
In the interview, he said, “I like staying active.” Further he said, “I liked fighting on the contender series, and then it’s nice to celebrate for a little bit, but after few weeks, I got back to the gym and get back to my routine.”

Most of Bashi life, that routine been a part of the West Bloomfield, for Michigan Native life. Since he was kid, he wanted to be a UFC MMA fighter even on the wrestling mat. He became a two- time all-state wrestler, black belt in jiu-jitsu, and two-time Muay Thai champion.

‘There are no holidays for him’, he said. Moreover, he tells, “I really took my time this whole entire career. I have 13 fights going into this, 12 fights going into the contender series, so I really gained a lot experience on the regional scene and made sure to have some tough fights.”
